Something To Do

Recently, I've concluded that the best day off is one when you do something for your inner-child and something for your outer-adult. For me, that means going to a pumpkin patch with a sunflower field before taking a trip to IKEA to pick up some much-needed items for my apartment. I went to my fair share of pumpkin patches as a youngin’ but never one with a sunflower field. A week ago that all changed when I visited a sunflower field where you could pick your flowers for a $1 each. Part of me felt badly removing the fliers from their family but I felt comfortable knowing I could give a few of them a new, loving home. Speaking of homes; having my place makes IKEA a more exciting and dangerous place to peruse. One minute I'm looking for dining table chairs so I don't have to eat meals on my couch anymore and the next I end up spending what seems like 5 hours deciding what vase to buy (I said I was going to give my flowers a proper home, right?) Let's be real though, there's no better place to kill time than IKEA: Change my mind (Jk, my mind is too sure of itself).
