The title of this post says it all- I'm mesmerized by all things tie-dye this season. The print has really got me under its spell and now I really want to brush up on my tie-dying skills at some point (or get some skills to begin with). The results always end up like a 5 year old's tie-dying attempt: one big, colorful mess. Until then, I'll take the safe route and purchase pre-tie-dyed pieces. I will say though, that the last word I'd use to characterize this Luna Luz skirt is safe. Ontop of the vibrant dye, there's a lot of volume going on in this skirt as if it's shouting "Boom here I am! Your eyes better be on me!" The spotlight has gotta be shared with this sweet lace tank from The Yub. Nearly every maxi skirt in my closet works with this little tank, which means it passes the "summer staples" test automatically. I also want to take a second to point out that the sandals I'm wearing here are the first pair I've bought in 5 years. My mom, who thinks my constant boot-wearing in the summertime is ridiculous, must be proud.
A bit of news for you guys: In a week I'm heading over to the East Coast for a mini vacay! When I come back in a weeks I'll share some of the places I explored, the ensembles I wore, etc so keep your eyes peeled for that. (:
